The Athletics NSW (ANSW) Street Relays are being held on Saturday 21st July at Ourimbah Uni campus. This is the 5th year in a row that Mingara Athletics club have hosted the event, and Central Coast Cross Country will be doing their part as well by hosting the Greater Bank Fun Run, along with our normal weekly Saturday run. You can still run your normal 2km, 4km or 6km race for your points, but we will also offer entries to anyone there on the day who would like to have a run.
This week our run will start at 2pm and will need to be finished for the 2.30pm start of the next ANSW event. Please note: If you want to run the 6km fun run, you will need to be able to finish in 35 mins.
Entry will be $5 per person for fun run participants (Not CCXC members), all ages, to run any distance. This fee is payable on the day to the sign on desk of Central Coast Cross Country, which will be set up on the grassy area to the side of the start line. Payment can also be made beforehand at the ANSW website (see link below). You will receive a Central Coast XC shoe tag which will need to be returned when you finish. We will endeavour to provide real time results however, if we can't, they will be up on this website that evening.
For any enquiries regarding the fun run, call Nicky on 0417 666 221.
