We hope that you all loved the new course at Wyee on the weekend. It was tough, and it was hilly but it was a true cross country course. It was very nice of the Darkinjung people to let us use their land and thank you to Stuart Hayward and Eliza Bell for negotiating the terms of use and setting out a fun course for us. We will look at including this venue in our program next season.

We had a few runners out on Saturday at the Sydney 10 in Homebush - Nathanael Shergold, Charlie Brooks, Therese Auton, Alyssa Betts, Kerry Hope and Nicky Kelly. They all ran really well and in very smoky conditions due to backburning in Sydney.

Next week we run at Rumbalara Reserve at Springfield which is another hilly bush run, but this one has the added fun of stairs as well. It will really get the lactic acid pumping. To get to Rumbalara, you follow Dolly Ave at Springfield all the way to the top where you will see us set up near the lookout and toilet block. (See map on the 'upcoming meet tab). Distances may be a little shorter this week due to the degree of difficulty of this run.

Thank you to Erica Greenwood and the others who took photos on Saturday. Most of the photos are up on facebook and more will be up tonight. See you all next weekend at Rumbalara.
